Chestnut Lane's Featured Artist

Posted by Shelley Blackwell on

I have known Staci Wall for well over 30 years.  She grew up in Danville and later went to VCU where we were roomies for a year.  Staci now lives in Chatham with her hubby Andrew and four children.  Two of her children are good friends with my younger son and daughter.
I am very excited about Staci's artwork because she paints what I love; animals, flowers and so much more.  Her style is a mix of lightly abstract and impressionism.  Her use of color and loose brush strokes bring the viewer in.  The paintings are done on gallery wrapped canvasses that give them  a modern look.  Her paintings would make a great statement piece to any room.
For Christmas she is painting antique slate roof tiles that can be hung or displayed on a stand.  The tiles have a classic colonial Williamsburg feel.  They would make a great gift for the holidays.
